In recent years, sudoku has become increasingly popular between puzzle game lovers of all ages. This Japanese game is a true challenge for players' minds, since it requires high concentration and problem-solving abilities. For this reason, it can be extremely demanding for some players who would prefer a lighter, easier version of the game. Christmas SuDoku is such a version. It features a set of nine icons instead of the traditional digits. As its name implies, bot the icons and the game interface are related to Christmas holidays, which are the best part of the year for many people. You can find Santa Clauses, candles, stockings and other seasonal images. The rules of the game are the same as for the traditional Sudoku: you need to distribute all the icons in the 3X3 squares, as well as in the columns and rows without repeating any of them. You can select the icon you want to place from a panel at right. If any of the icons repeats in one row, column or square, it would appear surrounded in red, so you can see easily what is the icon you need to replace. Also, when you have used all the available icons of, say, snowflakes, the snowflake icon at the right panel will appear wrapped with a ribbon, indicating that you can't use it in the game. There are three game levels: easy, medium and difficult. You can download the game free of charge and test it during 60 minutes. If you want to keep using it, you need to purchase a license at the developer's site. |
